Well, here is my first post! Wow, I’ve been itching to do this forever. Anyway, I’ve been thinking my little girl needs to be the cheerleader for my son’s t-ball team, the Marlin’s, black and turquoise. It just so happens that my husband tossed a black Harley Davidson shirt on my craft shelf, he said didn’t fit right. So I decided to cut it up and make that little cheer skirt I’ve been thinking about. I was going to buy the fabric, but Craig insisted I not buy what I don’t need. So, I took this...
Then did this...
And this...
Then sewed the pleats and used the arm cuffs as a bias tape for the top and got this...
I am very excited for the way it worked out and my daughter actually loves it! :-)
I hope you’ll stop by again to see what else I am sewing.
